My name is Felipe Simas. I'm a Game Designer/Developer from Brasília, Brazil, with background in Instructional Design, Liberal Arts, research, and writing. I graduated from American University with a Master's Degree in Interactive Media and Game Design, and worked as a Graduate Assistant for 2 years collaborating with professors on experimental and innovative research projects. I also have work experience as an Instructional Designer and have learned HTML/CSS for front-end web development.
I have lived in several countries and speak 3 languages fluently, providing me with a multicultural and diverse perspective. A strong background in Unity, Project Management, and problem solving helps me create unique user experiences and bring innovative solutions to complex problems as well as work within diverse and cross-disciplinary teams. The result is an empathetic approach to technology, which in the realm of Game Design can define the face of storytelling through meaningful play.
